CHIROPRACTIC CARE

Chiropractic is a form of healing guided by the belief that the systems in our body are connected and influenced by our nervous system. We provide chiropractic care through our medical services in Laytonville.

What is Chiropractic?

Stress on your body including physical traumas, emotional thoughts, and chemical toxins cause interference to the nervous system known as a vertebral subluxation. These subluxations or misalignments can interfere with the flow of information and energy along your nerves affecting the body’s overall function and general health.

By restoring the relationship between your body’s structure which is mainly the spine and function which is the nervous system, the body will be allowed to heal itself which in turn will improve your overall state of health.

How does Chiropractic work?

The practice of Chiropractic uses manual manipulation in order to treat spinal and musculoskeletal concerns such as pain in the muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons, and nerves. Chiropractic works by restoring normal joint function through soft tissue and joint manipulation. A chiropractor does not rely on medication to heal the body but focuses on a variety of manual therapies, including adjustments, electric muscle stimulations, ultrasound, roller tables, and power plates to improve function and reduce inflammation and pain.
