Janet Byrd, FNP, brings more than twenty years of nursing experience and eight years as a Family Nurse Practitioner to her work in primary care. She values taking the time to get to know her patients and believes that strong, trusting relationships are the foundation of good healthcare. Janet enjoys caring for individuals and families across the lifespan and works closely with patients to support their health goals at every stage of life.

Her clinical focus includes preventative care, managing chronic health conditions, and helping patients understand their treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care. Janet is especially passionate about patient and family education and believes that when people feel informed and supported, they are better able to take an active role in their health.

In addition to her clinical work, Janet has experience as an educator and administrator. She enjoys collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and mentoring students and new clinicians, helping to create a supportive learning environment while maintaining high standards of care. Her approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a strong commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare for the community she serves.
