March Newsletter: Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Screening can detect and prevent colorectal cancer by removing precancerous polyps. Most screenings begin at age 45, and when caught early, the 5-year survival rate is about 90%.

Talk with your provider about screening if you are 45 or older, have a family history of colorectal cancer, or are experiencing digestive symptoms.
